Our Dinner Picnic Series is off to a Great Start

Did you know? The 450+ members strong Lexington Vegan Society recently became a sub-organization of GA Sanctuaries. We are very proud of having the LVS be part of Good Acres! To celebrate we have just kicked off our summer park picnic series. Lexington is beautiful in general but Masterson Station Park is a particular jewel with sprawling clean meadows, shade trees, and comfortable picnic shelters.

Everybody in the group brought some food to share which was delicious and enjoyed by all topped off with lots of conversation and laughter. It was a perfect evening. Two dogs also attended. Lucy and Patrick from Good Acres Sanctuaries added some furry charm to the gathering.

Dinner is better with friends and anyone is welcome to join our dinner picnics. Check our cow-lendar of events for upcoming dates. If you are unsure of plant-based food give us a try. You may just be amazed at our delicious food! We also have a lively facebook group! Check out ‘Lexington Vegan Society’ and join. We would love to have you. See you at the next picnic dinner?

By the way, if you have a dog bring him or her to the next picnic. The dog park at Masterson Station Park is absolutely WONDERFUL. Your dog will be sure to love a romp around with other K9s prior and probably again after you have dinner with us.
